GKP offers support in resolving disputes that may arise in all areas of expertise. The growing complexity of business relations inevitably leads to the emergence of disputes. Our goal is to resolve them constructively, as quickly as possible, and in a viable manner. Although out-of-court settlement is usually quicker and more cost-effective, recourse to the courts is often unavoidable. GKP members have extensive experience in dealing with civil and commercial matters in all jurisdictions and degrees, as well as supporting cases before arbitral tribunals in Greece and abroad.
Our experience extends to the litigation of criminal cases, arising particularly in the context of civil and commercial disputes (white-collar crimes), as well as in the context of administrative procedures and investigations by regulatory or fiscal authorities. We attach great importance to preventing possible criminal involvement. In addition, GKP members have handled a wide variety of general administrative and tax cases, while our members have considerable experience in hearing proceedings before independent state authorities such as the Competition Commission and the Hellenic Telecommunications and Post Commission.
At the same time, members of our firm have represented clients before arbitral tribunals or have served as technical consultants in issues of competition, media, commercial agency and distribution, as well as in disputes arising from sales contracts before the ICC, LCIA, Tokyo Chamber of Commerce, while members of our firm are certified arbitrators under the auspices of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
